Intellectual Property, Information Technology and Privacy

AC’s IP practice covers a broad range of industrial sectors (fashion and luxury goods, retail and consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce and media/entertainment) and covers protection, in the context of both court proceedings and out-of-court negotiations and procedures, also in the context of unfair competition and comparative advertising, of all aspects of intellectual and industrial property and, in particular, the protection of patents, trademarks, confidential information, designs and models, copyrights and domain names.

AC also assists Clients in the drafting and negotiation of agreements for the economic exploitation of intellectual and industrial property rights, including licensing and technology transfer agreements and provides support in connection with extraordinary transactions related to companies featuring a broad portfolio of patents and trademarks.

The consultancy and assistance activities provided by the department also covers Information Technology (websites, multimedia products, on-line serfvices, software, banking and finacial services, electronic services and digital ditribution of protected works) and matters pertaining to the legal framework on personal data protection (Privacy).
